So today it's:
work (a Desperate Housewives episode, a movie "National Treasure", two reports to do),
laundry (3 loads at least, I bet),
kitchen (the floor MUST be washed),
a sock to knit - at least up to the heel part - for my father-in-law, for X-mas,
at least one article to read for my term paper in psychology
That is just the necessary. I wonder what else will be possible. I think I know what the impossible will be for this week - the project for my term paper.
Thank God the kids are being extra nice today.

I look forward to keeping up with your blog, too. I noticed that you are a translator; that is fascinating to me. I would love to learn a second language (Japanese and Portuguese are the two that interest me most), but I just never seem to find the time to go back to school. With what languages do you work?

I translate to/from English, Latvian, Russian and sometimes German. My native language is Latvian and I work for Viasat TV network here in Latvia, I translate movies. That means I am unable to enjoy a movie as a normal person, I'm unconsciously translating every word in the back of my mind or evaluating the translation. :D

Man ar liels prieks, ka esi mana bloga sekotājs (pirmais).
Par šallēm... Tu laikam domāji tās volānšalles. Nu ir jau tā dzija padārga salīdzinoši. Šeit Zviedrijā viena fice maksā tā starp 3-4 Ls. Bet no otras puses vajag tikai 2 fices. Tā kā tik traki beigās nesanāk.

Jā, draugos esmu Diāna Alksne. Šis man ir tikai tāds otrā plāna blogs, esmu Sviesta Cibā http://klab.lv/users/diana/ , kur blogus ir ierasts saukt par žurnāliem, tāpēc tāda terminoloģija. :) Bet Latvijā mani lasa pārāk daudz radu, draugu un visu iespējamo paziņu un darba devēju, tāpēc sagribējās paralēlu žurnālu, kur mani nepazītu, tikai tāpēc arī rakstu angliski. :) Bet www.blogger.com, izrādās, var atrast daudz interesantu žurnālu par visādām interesējošām tēmām, un ja nu vēl viens no interesantākajiem ir latvietes žurnāls (Tavs), tad man divkāršs prieks! Malacis!
